Why Support Red Ribbit Designs?
Red Ribbit Designs is the book design services branch of Red Ribbit Reads LLC. My design work was born out of a passion to teach myself the self-publishing industry so I could publish my own books ... and it turns out I have quite a knack for design as well.
I have always loved using the creative side of my brain - from being editor in chief of my school newspaper (yeah ... back in the 1990's), to designing photo albums for my family, and even being drawn to design elements in my day-to-day career (energy) - I have always worked hard to guarantee everything looks as professional as possible.
So here I am. Thanks for supporting my weekend and evening hobby! ... and indirectly, my books as well. I use all of my design earnings to fund illustrations for my books.

Hi, I'm Holly! I am the owner of Red Ribbit Reads, an independent children's book publisher, launched in 2021. I hope to grow over time; at my pace, on my schedule, from a passion project into a small business.
My focus as an author is around animals, nature, and inspiring kids to learn through reading, curiosity, and exploration. I draw my inspiration from my son, Charlie, and the adventures we have as a family.
One goal I have with EVERY BOOK is to identify a non-profit partner that does amazing work to donate a portion of my sales to ... or even launch my book with as a joint fundraising effort!
In 2023, I launched the design services branch of my little book business - Red Ribbit Designs. I am so grateful to my mentors and book group for encouraging me to pursue this little hobby a bit further ... I cannot wait to see where this path leads!
